Do you enjoy using data to shape customer strategies, optimise portfolio performance, and influence key commercial decisions? Are you passionate about turning complex datasets into actionable insights that improve both customer outcomes and business results? If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy solving analytical challenges, and can confidently communicate recommendations to a wide range of stakeholders, we'd love to hear from you.
Who we are
Jaja is a UK-based consumer finance business with a simple mission: to empower customers to buy, borrow and build using smart tech, strong data, and clear design. We launched our digital credit card in 2018 and we’re continuing to grow, with new products and experiences in the pipeline. Our goal is to strip out unnecessary complexity and give people more control over their money — or as we put it, Make Simple. Our values guide how we work: Care Deeply. Adapt & Thrive. Challenge Everything. Go For It. Own It. Make It Simple. We’re scaling quickly, and there’s a lot of exciting change happening across the business.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own credit strategies for existing customer management – optimising credit limit increase/decrease strategies, balance transfers activities, supporting re-pricing activity.
- Shape our monitoring frameworks – design scalable, smart solutions for reviewing portfolio quality and strategy impacts.
- Provide analytical recommendations, support governance and implementation of strategy changes.
- Partner effectively with Commercial, Collections, Tech, Finance, and Reg teams to deliver investor returns as well as an exceptional customer experience in line with all regulatory frameworks.
- Communicate with impact – create clear stories, anticipate questions, and make data land.
- Spot opportunities – find new ways data can improve customer outcomes or business performance and liaise with external partnerships to carry out Proof of Concept exercises.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
