The Role
Brook Green Supply (BGS) is a leading independent B2B energy supplier, delivering tailored energy supply and Net-Zero solutions to industrial and commercial consumers.
As part of the Credit Risk team within the Commercial department, the Senior Credit Risk Analyst will combine senior credit risk assessment with ownership of credit risk portfolio monitoring and operations.
The role will assess and manage counterparty credit risk arising from physical power and gas supply, including complex exposures, collateral arrangements, credit insurance and contractual risk. You will work with internal account managers, account management coordinators, the trading desk and external parties including clients, TPIs, credit rating agencies, credit insurers and brokers.
This role is the risk intelligence layer that informs and supports credit control activity, not a replacement for it. You will maintain portfolio surveillance, exposure trackers, watchlists and early-warning indicators so emerging risks are identified early and credit decisions remain current as markets and sectors evolve.
The role suits an analytical and commercially aware credit risk professional who can combine financial analysis, market awareness, clear stakeholder communication and disciplined operational control.

- Act as a senior point of liaison for complex credit queries and bespoke credit solutions.
- Monitor delivery, updates and renewals for alternative collateral facilities.

- Review and support credit aspects of energy trading documentation, including EFET Master Agreements, GTMAs, MNAs and CSAs.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
