We’re looking for an experienced Senior Critical Facilities Engineer to join Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), supporting our critical facilities infrastructure across the EMEA region.
This is a hands-on engineering role with a strong long-term focus on CMMS, asset management, and maintenance programs.
Oracle owns and operates critical infrastructure within colocation data centers, and this role will help ensure those assets are properly maintained throughout their lifecycle. A key part of the position will be developing and managing the CMMS framework used to track assets, plan maintenance, and maintain accurate engineering records.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop and manage CMMS standards, asset hierarchies, and equipment records
- Build and improve preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs
- Create and manage maintenance schedules, work orders, job plans, and maintenance documentation
- Support critical electrical and cooling infrastructure, including liquid cooling systems
- Review planned maintenance, MOPs, risk assessments, and operational changes
- Coordinate maintenance activities with colocation providers and external vendors
- Support incident response, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
- Help improve maintenance processes, asset reliability, and lifecycle planning across EMEA
- Initially support the wider Data Center Facilities Engineering team with day-to-day operational activities while the CMMS capability continues to develop

What we’re looking for:
- Around 5–6+ years of relevant engineering experience
- Data center facilities, critical facilities, or other mission-critical infrastructure experience
- Electrical, mechanical, or multi-skilled engineering background
- Strong understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance of critical infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with CMMS/EAM platforms such as Maximo, ServiceNow, SAP PM, Oracle EAM, eMaint, Corrigo, Archibus, or similar
- Ideally, experience building or improving CMMS asset structures and maintenance programs — not simply processing work orders
- Experience coordinating vendors and reviewing maintenance activities and operational risks
- Knowledge of critical infrastructure such as UPS, generators, switchgear, transformers, PDUs, and cooling systems

Experience with liquid cooling, commissioning/operational handovers, reliability-centered maintenance, or critical-spares planning would be a plus.
The role is primarily remote, but you should be based in London or the Greater London area as occasional visits to our colocation sites will be required (typically up to approximately 25%).
