About the Role

We are currently looking for a Senior C&S Engineer to join the team based in Birchwood Park, Warrington.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver structural engineering design within a regulated or complex engineering environment.
  • Develop and check structural engineering deliverables in accordance with applicable standards, procedures, and technical specifications.
  • Undertake structural analysis, assessment, and verification of new and existing structures.
  • Apply relevant codes and standards (e.g. Eurocodes, BS standards, nuclear-specific standards where applicable).
  • Assess structural integrity, load paths, stability, and serviceability considerations.
  • Identify, record and manage technical risks, assumptions, and constraints.
  • Support design reviews, independent checking, and technical assurance processes.

Requirements

  • Experience working within multi-disciplinary engineering teams and interfacing with other disciplines (e.g. mechanical, EC&I, project management).
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Relevant structural engineering experience commensurate with a senior engineer role.
  • Ability to resolve complex technical design issues with minimal supervision
  • Effective communicator with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Collaborative leadership style across multidisciplinary teams
  • Demonstrates sound professional judgement and commercial awareness
  • Experience supervising and reviewing the work of others
