About the Role
We are currently looking for a Senior C&S Engineer to join the team based in Birchwood Park, Warrington.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver structural engineering design within a regulated or complex engineering environment.
- Develop and check structural engineering deliverables in accordance with applicable standards, procedures, and technical specifications.
- Undertake structural analysis, assessment, and verification of new and existing structures.
- Apply relevant codes and standards (e.g. Eurocodes, BS standards, nuclear-specific standards where applicable).
- Assess structural integrity, load paths, stability, and serviceability considerations.
- Identify, record and manage technical risks, assumptions, and constraints.
- Support design reviews, independent checking, and technical assurance processes.
Requirements
- Experience working within multi-disciplinary engineering teams and interfacing with other disciplines (e.g. mechanical, EC&I, project management).
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Relevant structural engineering experience commensurate with a senior engineer role.
- Ability to resolve complex technical design issues with minimal supervision
- Effective communicator with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborative leadership style across multidisciplinary teams
- Demonstrates sound professional judgement and commercial awareness
- Experience supervising and reviewing the work of others
