Delaware North UK is hiring casual Senior Culinary Opportunities for Senior Chef, Chef De Partie, Sous Chef, Chef de Cuisine, and Head Chef to join our team at the London Stadium, in Stratford, East London. As a Senior Chef, Chef De Partie, Sous Chef, Chef de Cuisine, or Head Chef, you will be managing the entire kitchen or section, confidently leading team members in food production, presentation, and event execution. Responsibilities
- Lead kitchen operations for events from planning through delivery, deliver team briefings, and manage food production, menus, staffing, and logistics
- Ensure food consistently meets Delaware North’s standards and specifications, maintaining high quality, presentation, and consistency
- Lead, support, and develop culinary teams, allocating tasks, monitoring performance, and maintaining clear communication
- Drive high standards of food presentation and allergen compliance, ensuring quality guest experience, leading teams to deliver seamless event service
- Ensure the operation complies with current health and safety, food hygiene, fire regulations, licensing laws, and trading standards, maintaining Delaware North’s policies and standards of excellence
Qualifications
- No degree required
- Certification in Level 3 Food Safety, Allergen Expert Level 2, Level 2 Safety Awareness, COSHH Training, and Guest and Staff Experience Training
- Experience as Head Chef or Senior Chef in high-volume, fast-paced catering
- Skills in leadership, communication, teamwork, reliability, punctuality, detail-orientation, and performing under pressure

- Ability to stand for duration of shift
- Comfortable handling various meat products
- Availability to attend shifts for prep days, as well as matchdays and event days, due to events-based nature of roles
Hourly Minimum Rate

Home to the Hammers and UK Athletics, London Stadium is no stranger to presenting world-class events, with Delaware North managing the hospitality services of the 60 - 80,000 seated stadia since 2015. As one of the UK’s most iconic sports and entertainment venues, London Stadium has hosted incredible events, with Delaware North team members making countless connections, leaving lasting impressions on guests. From its start as hosting the 2012 Summer Olympics, London Stadium has grown to hold a vibrant portfolio of world-class sporting events, from holding Europe’s first MLB Series, games from the IRB 2015 Rugby World Cup, to a range of Athletics events with the annual IAAF Diamond League, and hosting both the London 2017 World Athletics Championships and 2017 World Para Athletics Championships, the first location to ever hold both events in the same year.
