Senior Cyber Security Analyst

£55,000 - £70,000 + benefits | Hybrid | UK

We are seeking a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to act as deputy to the Group Head of Cyber Resilience and Security. This is a hands-on role combining security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, identity security, cyber risk and governance.

You will investigate and coordinate security incidents, manage vulnerabilities, assess cyber risk across projects and third parties, and help strengthen security controls and resilience. You will also provide technical guidance to other analysts and represent the Security function with key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and investigate security incidents, coordinating containment and remediation.
  • Use SIEM, EDR, Microsoft Defender and Sentinel to investigate suspicious activity.
  • Manage vulnerability assessment, prioritisation and remediation.
  • Conduct cyber risk assessments across projects, systems and third parties.
  • Support ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials and security governance.
  • Work across Entra ID, Conditional Access, Active Directory and IAM.
  • Drive improvements to security controls, processes and cyber resilience.
  • Support and mentor less experienced analysts and act as a senior escalation point.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
