Job Overview

Are you an experienced cyber security professional who wants to use your skills to support NHS services?

NTW Solutions is looking for a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join our Digital Services Cyber Security team. This is an important role helping to protect the systems, information and services used across Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust and NTW Solutions.

We are looking for someone who can combine strong technical knowledge with clear communication. You will help turn complex cyber security information into practical advice, reports, evidence and improvement actions. You will also support incident response, vulnerability management, assurance activity and the development of cyber security controls, policies and procedures.

Main duties of the job

This role would suit someone with experience in cyber security, infrastructure, cloud services or enterprise technology. Experience of Microsoft security technologies such as Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Intune and Defender would be helpful. We would also welcome experience of areas such as vulnerability management, incident response, SIEM or Managed Detection and Response services, supplier assurance, cyber security frameworks or NHS information governance requirements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
