The role
They are looking for a Senior Cyber Security Architect to take a leading role in the secure design and delivery of cloud services and technology solutions for their customers.
You’ll work closely with Agile delivery teams, embedding security throughout the software development lifecycle and ensuring security is considered from initial design through to delivery.
The role combines hands-on security architecture, client engagement and technical leadership, alongside the opportunity to mentor and develop other security professionals.

What you’ll be doing
- Designing and delivering secure cloud services and solutions.
- Identifying security risks within existing architectures and recommending practical mitigations.
- Embedding security practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Providing security architecture guidance across applications, infrastructure and cloud environments.
- Testing the security of software and infrastructure using appropriate tools.
- Applying security standards and frameworks including NCSC, ISO, NIST, PCI and GDPR.
- Advising on network security, web application security and cryptographic controls.
- Working with senior stakeholders and technical teams to communicate complex security concepts.
- Mentoring and coaching members of the security team.
- Providing technical direction across challenging customer engagements.
What they’re looking for
- Strong experience in Cyber Security Architecture.
- Experience designing and delivering secure cloud services and solutions.
- Background in application architecture, software development and/or infrastructure architecture.
- Strong understanding of security standards including NCSC, ISO, NIST, PCI and GDPR.
- Experience with Continuous Security, CI/CD and secure software development practices.
- Knowledge of network security, web application security and OWASP.
- Understanding of cryptographic controls such as PKI and TLS.
- Experience identifying security risks and developing appropriate mitigations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical teams and senior stakeholders.
- Experience managing, mentoring or coaching security professionals.

Experience across identity and access management, governance, risk and compliance, operational security or supply-chain security would be advantageous. Security qualifications such as OSCP, CREST, TIGER or equivalent are also desirable.
