Role Overview

Right across infrastructure, there’s a requirement to not only maintain, but also renew and reimagine. Whatever stage you’re at in your career, with us you’ll have an opportunity to grow and develop. Delivering essential infrastructure services for life, while being safety first, and client and customer centric in a friendly, fun and respectful environment where you are encouraged to thrive.

About the Role

Where will you be working?

You’ll be joining Cyro Cyber, part of MGroup, a specialist cyber security consultancy founded in 2021 to help public sector and financial organisations protect their Critical Digital Infrastructure. While Cyro Cyber has grown in size, reach and expertise, its core purpose remains the same: delivering trusted, independent cyber security advice and services to keep clients safe in an ever-evolving threat landscape.

Cyro Cyber operates across the UK, with offices in London and Farnborough, working on high-impact, mission-critical projects that really matter.

What will you be doing?

Reporting into the NRTS leadership team, the Senior Cyber Security Architect will play a pivotal role in shaping and securing critical national telecommunications infrastructure. You'll provide strategic security architecture, technical assurance and specialist expertise across transformation programmes, innovation initiatives and live operational services, ensuring security is embedded throughout the entire service lifecycle.

  • Working closely with project teams, operations, suppliers and stakeholders, you'll govern and review solution designs, validate security controls and ensure all services meet the required security, risk and compliance standards.
  • You'll act as a trusted technical authority, supporting the secure delivery of network security technologies, firewalls, remote access solutions and wider cyber security services.
  • As a senior subject matter expert, you'll provide technical leadership during major incidents, service improvements and operational change.
  • From design validation and user acceptance testing through to service transition and operational handover, you'll ensure solutions are resilient, supportable and aligned to business and client requirements.
  • You'll take ownership of ongoing security assurance activities, including vulnerability remediation, audit actions, compliance reviews, lifecycle management and continual service improvement.
  • The role also involves maintaining strong governance practices, managing critical security assets and ensuring all documentation remains accurate and up to date.
  • Building strong relationships with clients, suppliers and internal teams will be essential. Acting as a trusted advisor, you'll help identify cyber security requirements, support service enhancements and contribute to the successful delivery of secure, innovative solutions across the NRTS environment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
