Senior Cyber Security Consultant
Salary - £70,000 - £75,000
Location - Surrey/ Hybrid
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Information Security Consultant to join a growing security function in a senior advisory role.
You’ll work closely with project teams, technology leaders, and senior stakeholders to embed security by design, assess emerging risks, and provide expert guidance across security architecture, threat modelling, and AI risk.
The Opportunity
- Provide security advisory support across projects and business change programmes.
- Lead threat modelling exercises and translate findings into clear, business-focused risk statements.
- Conduct security architecture reviews across applications, platforms, and infrastructure.
- Assess security risks associated with AI systems and AI-enabled products, including model integrity, bias, data poisoning, and explainability.
- Work with wider security teams to ensure appropriate security controls and assurance activities are completed.
- Represent Information Security at governance forums, programme boards, and working groups.
- Manage multiple concurrent workstreams and deliver high-quality outputs against competing priorities.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to the continuous improvement of the security function.

What We’re Looking For
- Significant experience in an Information Security advisory, BISO, or consultancy role.
- Proven experience leading threat modelling exercises and communicating outcomes to senior, non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrable experience assessing security and risk within AI systems or AI-enabled products.
- Strong experience conducting security architecture reviews.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical risks into clear business language.
- A genuine interest in emerging technologies and the evolving cyber security threat landscape.
