Senior Cybersecurity Consultant

UK | Hybrid Working | Consultancy Environment

£90,000 - £100,000 + 5% bonus + perm benefits

We're seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant to join a leading technology and consulting practice, helping clients navigate increasing cyber threats, regulatory demands, and large-scale digital transformation initiatives. You will lead and deliver high-impact cybersecurity advisory engagements across a diverse client portfolio. You'll combine deep cybersecurity expertise with strong consulting and stakeholder management skills, helping clients develop strategies, improve cyber maturity, and embed security within broader cloud, infrastructure, and digital transformation programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead cybersecurity consulting engagements from discovery through to recommendations and implementation planning
  • Conduct cyber maturity assessments, risk reviews, and security strategy engagements
  • Advise senior stakeholders on cyber risk, resilience, governance, and secure transformation
  • Develop cybersecurity roadmaps aligned to business objectives
  • Integrate security requirements into cloud, infrastructure, and digital transformation initiatives
  • Translate complex cyber risks into practical business recommendations
  • Support business development activities including bids, proposals, and client presentations
  • Contribute to thought leadership and market-facing cybersecurity propositions
  • Collaborate with architects, delivery teams, and subject matter experts across multiple disciplines

Essential Experience

  • Experience in a cybersecurity consulting or advisory role within a major consultancy, systems integrator, or specialist cyber practice
  • Proven track record delivering cybersecurity strategy, risk, and transformation engagements
  • Experience working with senior business and technology stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of cyber risk management and governance frameworks
  • Experience supporting business development, proposals, and client relationship management
