We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Senior CYPMH Practitioner to join the CYPMH and Child Psychology team in Lancaster and Morecambe


About the Role

CYPMH Lancaster and Morecambe are looking to recruit a Band 6 Senior CYPMH Practitioner to cover maternity leave. The practitioner will complement the wider multi-disciplinary CYPMH; a busy, friendly service providing a range of treatment approaches to children and young people 0 – 18yrs including CBT, EMDR, DBT, SCM, Psychiatry, Psychology and Family Therapy. We also work in close collaboration with partner agencies.

We work with children, young people and families up to the age of 18 years presenting with a wide range of moderate to severe, emotional and mental difficulties. Experience of working with children and young people with mental health difficulties would be essential.

Responsibilities

  • Work with children, young people and families up to the age of 18 years
  • Provide a range of treatment approaches including CBT, EMDR, DBT, SCM, Psychiatry, Psychology and Family Therapy
  • Work in close collaboration with partner agencies
  • Co-work effectively with colleagues and maintain good clinical records and data collection

Requirements

  • Qualified Registered Mental Health Nurses, Social Workers, and Occupational Therapists
  • Minimum of 18 months experience, working with children and young people with emotional and mental health needs
  • Ability to work in various community settings alongside partner providers
