Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Dynamics 365 (.NET) Developer to join a fast-paced digital delivery programme, specialising in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building, configuring, and extending Dynamics 365 solutions while collaborating with business stakeholders, product owners, and agile delivery teams.
- Taking ownership of development tasks across Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, with a focus on Power Pages and Azure DevOps.
- Working autonomously at SFIA Level 4, supporting junior colleagues where needed.
- Translating technical concepts for business stakeholders and managing delivery risks proactively.
Ideal candidate:
- Strong technical skills combined with excellent communication to bridge gaps between technical and business audiences.
- Experience in agile methodologies and issue escalation to ensure smooth programme delivery.
Contract Details
- Day Rate: £400 – £450
- Engagement: Inside IR35
- SFIA Level: Level 4
- Start Date: June 2026
- End Date: 17 November 2026
- Duration: ~5.5 months
Mandatory:

1. D365 & Power Platform Development
- Design, build, configure, and extend Dynamics 365 solutions and Power Platform components.
- Develop and maintain Power Pages solutions and external-facing portals.
- Deliver scalable, maintainable solutions aligned with business and user requirements.
2. Azure DevOps & Agile Delivery
- Manage tickets, user stories, and delivery tasks through Azure DevOps boards.
- Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Maintain accurate work item updates and delivery progress tracking.
3. Stakeholder Communication
- Translate technical concepts into clear, accessible business language.
- Provide proactive updates on delivery, dependencies, risks, and blockers.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
4. Technical Leadership
- Work autonomously at SFIA Level 4 – take ownership of development tasks.
- Influence technical direction and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Mentor junior colleagues where appropriate.
5. Risk & Issue Management
- Proactively identify and escalate risks, issues, and blockers.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and transparent delivery practices.
Essential Skills & Experience
✅ Core Dynamics 365 & Power Platform knowledge:
- Strong hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 development and configuration.
- Expertise in Power Pages for building external portals.
✅ Power Platform experience:
- Power Apps
- Power Automate
- Dataverse
✅ Azure & Agile expertise:
- Azure DevOps (board/ticket management, pipeline configuration).
- Comfortable working within Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks.
✅ Stakeholder engagement & communication skills:
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical teams.
- Risk-aware delivery mindset.
