Join the Infrastructure Data Analytics Office team as a Senior Data AI Analyst, using data analytics to support key business areas including Finance, Risk, Compliance and Regulatory functions.

This role focuses on turning complex data and regulatory obligations into practical insights, reporting and improvements to systems and processes. Success means delivering analytics that strengthens decision-making, improves the quality and efficiency of data handling and helps teams meet regulatory expectations with effective governance, oversight and risk management.

In this role you'll:

  • Deliver advanced data analytics to generate insights that support decision-making across Finance, Risk, Compliance and Regulatory activities
  • Develop models and reports to improve business performance and strengthen regulatory reporting
  • Build and optimise data systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy in data handling and reporting
  • Establish best practices for data management and governance across relevant analytics and reporting activities
  • Gather regulatory operating model requirements from stakeholders and translate them into actionable solutions within existing processes and tools
  • Translate external regulatory obligations into practical solutions that can be implemented through current ways of working
  • Identify opportunities to embed regulatory requirements into existing processes to improve efficiency and reduce time-to-market for key deliverables
  • Establish and run quality assurance and feedback loops for AI-driven technology solutions
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver clear outputs that align to business objectives
  • Coordinate across technology, business and data teams to support cohesive delivery and shared understanding

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Proven experience applying data analytics in a Finance environment to support business processes and regulatory reporting
  • Established ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights for decision-making
  • Strong hands-on capability with data analytics tools and technologies including SQL, Python, R and data visualisation platforms
  • Proven experience designing or improving systems and processes to strengthen data handling, reporting and control outcomes
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills with the ability to influence across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards related to finance and data privacy
  • Good understanding of AI technologies and machine learning including potential implications for delivery and controls
