Senior Data Analyst - London (Hybrid, 2 days per week) | £70,000 - £75,000

Looking to work with millions of users, large-scale behavioural data, and cutting-edge digital products? This is an opportunity to join a growing analytics function within a leading global digital media and technology business, helping shape how audiences engage with content and products at scale.

The Company

They are an international digital business operating across content, technology and consumer platforms, reaching millions of users globally. With a strong focus on product innovation and audience engagement, they are investing heavily in understanding user behaviour and improving digital experiences. You'll join a small, high-impact analytics team working closely with Product, Technology and Data stakeholders.

The Role

As a Senior Data Analyst, you'll combine deep analytical expertise with strong SQL skills to uncover insights from large-scale user and behavioural datasets.

Responsibilities include:

  • Analysing customer, audience and digital engagement data at scale
  • Writing complex SQL queries across high-volume datasets
  • Understanding user journeys, product engagement and audience behaviour
  • Identifying key user cohorts and engagement drivers
  • Supporting event tracking, measurement and experimentation frameworks
  • Delivering insights that influence product and business decisions
  • Partnering with Product and Engineering teams to improve user experiences
  • Supporting A/B testing and measuring the impact of new features
  • Using digital analytics tools to understand user interactions across platforms

Your Skills & Experience

  • Strong commercial SQL experience working with large datasets
  • Background in customer, audience, digital or web analytics
  • Experience analysing user behaviour and engagement patterns
  • Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working within digital, consumer, subscription, media, technology, e-commerce or similar environments
  • Exposure to experimentation, testing or product analytics initiatives
  • Experience with cloud data platforms such as BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift or similar
  • GA4, Looker, Python or product analytics tool experience is advantageous
