Data Delivery Lead – Solution architecture
3-month initial contract – 3 days per week onsite – Liverpool – £550 per day (Outside IR35)
We’re looking for a senior Data Delivery Lead to act as the key link between business stakeholders and data/engineering teams for our sporting organisation client, driving delivery across a strategic data and analytics roadmap. You’ll lead stakeholder engagement, shape requirements and solutions, manage priorities and dependencies, and ensure initiatives deliver measurable business value.
This is a senior, hands-on role requiring someone who can operate confidently across business, data, technology and delivery. You’ll work with senior stakeholders, challenge and refine requirements, provide solution direction, and lead distributed delivery teams through complex data initiatives.

Key Requirements
- 10+ years’ experience across data, analytics, data engineering, solution architecture or data delivery
- Proven experience leading complex enterprise data initiatives from discovery through to delivery
- Strong senior stakeholder and client-facing experience
- Excellent communication, workshop facilitation and relationship-building skills
- Strong understanding of modern data platforms, cloud, data engineering, analytics and reporting
- Experience with AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, Microsoft Fabric or similar
- Strong understanding of data architecture, governance, data quality and lineage
- Experience owning backlogs, prioritisation, Agile delivery, risks and dependencies
- Comfortable working across business and technical teams, including offshore/distributed delivery teams
- Commercial, outcome-focused mindset with the ability to challenge, influence and drive delivery

Compensation
Day Rate: £550 per day (Outside IR35)
Duration: initial 3-month
Location: Liverpool, 3x a week onsite
