Senior Data Analyst
Contract | Hybrid (Leeds – 1-2 days per month) | Outside IR35/Day Rate DOE
We're supporting a major UK transformation programme seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to help deliver complex enterprise data migration activities.
This role sits at the intersection of business and technology, analysing source systems, defining data mappings and ensuring high-quality migration into a modern ERP environment.
What you'll be doing
- Analyse complex source systems and identify migration requirements
- Produce detailed Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM) documentation
- Define business transformation rules and data quality requirements
- Lead data profiling, reconciliation and validation activities
- Work with business SMEs to resolve mapping and data quality issues
- Support testing, dress rehearsals and migration sign-off
- Assess downstream reporting and master data impacts
- Produce clear technical documentation throughout the programme lifecycle

We're looking for
- Strong experience delivering Data Analysis on large ERP or transformation programmes
- Expert knowledge of source-to-target mapping
- Advanced SQL for profiling, validation and reconciliation
- Experience supporting data migration and integration projects
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience with data governance and reconciliation frameworks

- SAP S/4HANA migration projects

- Azure data platform exposure
- Python or scripting experience

Location
Hybrid role with travel to Leeds 1-2 times per month.
