Senior Data Analyst
Loyalty & Customer Insights
Berkshire - 2 days per week onsite
Up to £65k DOE + 15% bonus
We're looking for a Senior Data Analyst (Loyalty & Customer Insights) to join a leading retail business and help drive a deeper understanding of customer behaviour across stores, digital channels and loyalty programmes.
Working closely with CRM, Loyalty, Marketing and Commercial teams, you'll analyse customer and transactional data to uncover insights that improve engagement, retention and customer value. This is a highly visible role where your analysis will directly influence business decisions and customer strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse customer, sales, CRM and loyalty data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement
- Deliver insight into customer acquisition, retention, frequency, spend and lifetime value
- Develop customer segmentation models and behavioural profiling to support targeted marketing activity
- Measure the effectiveness of CRM campaigns, promotions and customer engagement initiatives
- Create and enhance dashboards, scorecards and automated reporting using Power BI
- Define and track key customer and commercial KPIs
- Present actionable insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Collaborate with Marketing, Digital, Commercial, Technology and Data teams to solve business challenges through analytics
- Support ongoing improvements in data quality, reporting automation and analytical capability

- Strong hands-on experience with SQL and analysing large datasets
- Advanced reporting and visualisation skills using Power BI or similar BI platforms
- Experience working with customer, retail, marketing or commercial data
- Exposure to modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate complex findings into business actions
- Understanding of data governance, validation and reporting best practices
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
