About Athos Data Solutions

Athos Data Solutions is a modern data and AI consultancy helping organisations turn fragmented data into scalable platforms, trusted insights and production-ready AI solutions.
We work across Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Databricks, Power BI and AI, supporting clients from initial data strategy and platform modernisation through to advanced analytics and intelligent automation.
As an early member of our growing team, you will have the opportunity to influence how we deliver analytics, work directly with clients and help shape the future of Athos.

The opportunity

We are looking for an exceptional Senior Data Analyst who can turn complex business questions into clear, commercially valuable insights.
This is not a traditional reporting role.
You will work closely with senior client stakeholders to understand their challenges, define meaningful performance measures and build analytical solutions that influence real business decisions.
You will combine strong technical capability with commercial thinking, clear communication and the confidence to challenge assumptions when the data tells a different story.

What you will do

  • Partner with senior stakeholders to understand strategic and operational challenges.
  • Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical problems.
  • Design executive dashboards and analytical products using Power BI.
  • Build reliable SQL models, semantic models and reusable analytical datasets.
  • Develop KPI frameworks that connect operational activity to commercial outcomes.
  • Conduct exploratory, statistical and commercial analysis.
  • Identify trends, risks, performance gaps and growth opportunities.
  • Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Work with Data Engineers and AI Engineers to productionise analytical solutions.
  • Help establish analytics standards, reusable frameworks and delivery best practices.
  • Support and mentor analysts across client engagements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
