Senior Data Analyst – Python, PowerBI, Azure, Fabric, SQL, Data Analytics, dbt, Data Modelling, Lloyds Market, Underwriting

I am currently working with a specialty Lloyds of London syndicate who are looking to hire a Senior Data Analyst to join their Data Science & Analytics function. The business has consistently been in the top 5 performers in their market and are currently growing this function as part of a strategy to build a genuine data partnership with teams across underwriting, actuary, claims etc.

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for helping mature the team’s BI setup, working heavily with PowerBI, undertaking data modelling with Python and SQL and working closely with Data Engineers to productionise data pipelines and enhance the core semantic layer.

To be successful, you will require:

  • 5+ years Data Analytics experience, in either the Lloyds Insurance market, or broad Financial Services
  • Strong SQL and Python skills for modelling and analysis
  • PowerBI skills for data visualisation
  • Experience working with enterprise data platforms ideally on Azure with DataBricks, Fabric, Data Factory etc.
