Job Opportunity: Workforce Data and Insight Analyst

Are you passionate about people data and workforce insight? Do you enjoy turning data into meaningful information? Have you got experience working with HR, workforce or people information systems?

If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Join one of the UK's largest workforce transformation programmes and help shape the future of workforce technology, data and insight for more than 1.9 million NHS employees across England and Wales.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to influence how the NHS uses workforce data and technology to attract, recruit, retain, develop and support its people for years to come.

We're looking for a talented and forward-thinking analyst with experience in areas such as:

  • Oracle Fusion
  • Electronic Staff Record (ESR)
  • Workforce information systems
  • HR technology
  • Workforce analytics
  • People data and reporting

Working at the heart of a major national transformation programme, you'll help drive the next generation of NHS workforce solutions, ensuring data and technology deliver real value for organisations, managers and employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support delivery of implementation activity across a defined group of organisations, supporting health boards and trusts to prepare for transition, implementation and early adoption.
  • Work alongside NHS organisations, NHSBSA and suppliers, ensuring data is fit for purpose, supporting data cleanse activities, identifying data sets to prioritise and data mapping.
  • Support implementation activity using agreed data sets, validating information, follow up action plans and help organisations progress implementation.
  • Work with the Programme Managers, NHS organisations, NHSBSA and suppliers supporting rollout activity and maintain focus on agreed timescales, governance requirements and project objectives.
  • Support effective use of the current workforce system while preparing for the future solution, providing practical guidance and follow-up on agreed actions that strengthen local capability, readiness and adoption.
  • Support reporting, monitoring and tracking data quality to enable governance and decision-making, including visibility of readiness, implementation status and emerging risks.
  • Monitor progress, identify where corrective action may be required and contribute to continuous improvement, training, audit and successful project delivery.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
