Senior Data Analyst

London | Hybrid | £85,000 + Up to 40% Bonus + Excellent Benefits

Shape Commercial Decisions Through Data

We're partnering with a leading London Market insurer investing heavily in the next generation of Data & Analytics.

This is an opportunity to join a high-performing central analytics team that's moving beyond traditional reporting to deliver insight that directly influences underwriting, pricing, claims and portfolio strategy.

Working alongside senior business stakeholders, you'll become a trusted analytics partner, turning complex commercial challenges into data-driven decisions while helping shape the future of analytics across the organisation.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Partner with Underwriting, Claims and Exposure teams to deliver commercial insight.
  • Build advanced Power BI dashboards and decision-support tools.
  • Influence pricing, portfolio optimisation and business performance.
  • Deliver end-to-end analytics projects from discovery through to deployment.
  • Champion Power BI best practice, governance and engineering standards.
  • Work closely with Data Engineering to shape semantic models and data products.
  • Introduce AI and automation into analytics workflows.
  • Mentor analysts and help raise technical standards across the team.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong experience within Data Analytics or BI.
  • London Market insurance experience (Lloyd's, MGA, Broker or Specialty Insurer).
  • Advanced SQL and Power BI (DAX, data modelling, Power Query).
  • Experience working with Azure data platforms and modern BI environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and commercial communication skills.
