Your Impact
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Data & Digital team as a Data Analyst, helping organisations turn data into meaningful insights that drive operational and strategic decision-making. You'll work with a range of stakeholders to understand business challenges, analyse complex data and deliver clear, actionable reporting that supports better outcomes across government, defence and highly regulated environments.
Whether your experience has been gained through business intelligence, reporting, analytics or data-focused delivery roles, you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills while working on impactful projects. Day to Day
- Gather, cleanse, validate and transform data from multiple internal and external sources to support reporting and analysis requirements
- Create, develop and maintain reports, dashboards and visualisations using Power BI, Tableau or equivalent reporting tools
- Apply analytical techniques to identify trends, patterns, anomalies and opportunities for improvement.
- Produce regular and ad hoc analysis to answer business questions and support decision-making
- Write efficient SQL queries to extract, manipulate, validate and analyse data from structured and semi-structured sources
- Support the creation and maintenance of performance measures, KPIs and management information reporting
- Document analytical methodologies, assumptions, calculations, definitions and data sources
- Present findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Support data quality, governance and information management activities to ensure trusted and reliable reporting
- Work collaboratively within agile, multidisciplinary delivery teams to deliver analytical outputs
- Assist in identifying opportunities to improve reporting, processes and analytical capabilities
- Communicate progress, risks and insights effectively with project teams, stakeholders and clients

#Digital&Data
Here's what you'll need
- Strong SQL skills, including joins, filtering, aggregation and data validation techniques
- Experience creating dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau or equivalent visualisation tools
- Advanced Excel skills for analysis, reporting and data manipulation
- Experience cleansing, reconciling and validating data from multiple sources
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends, root causes and actionable insights
- Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience managing assigned tasks, documenting approaches and delivering to agreed deadlines
- Have experience being most Senior or Lead in a project
- Eligibility for SC Clearance
