Senior Insights Data Analyst
The Senior Insights Data Analyst is a key contributor responsible for delivering complex data analytics projects and providing strategic insights that drive business decisions. Sitting at the intersection of operations, business intelligence, and tech, this role will serve as the driver for fast-paced, complex, and ambitious projects. With a strong command of statistical techniques and tools, this individual works with cross-functional teams to gather data, apply advanced analytical frameworks, and develop actionable insights that align with the company's strategic goals. This role works with minimal supervision, ensuring data accuracy and optimizing business processes through data-driven decision-making.
While not responsible for managing a team, the Senior Insights Analyst mentors junior analysts and collaborates closely with business leaders to deliver impactful results. The ideal candidate brings deep domain knowledge, a proactive mindset, and the confidence to share findings and influence decisions — even when not asked.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Own and drive projects with minimal supervision, executing complex data queries and advanced analytical frameworks
- Transform ambiguous business challenges into viable analytical solutions
- Apply statistical techniques and AI to address business challenges, providing clear, data-driven insights to guide decision-making
- Effectively structure projects, manage timelines, and provide relevant updates to key stakeholders
- Expertly steer meetings and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through visualizations and presentations
- Process, transform, and clean large datasets
- Understand HF's core products and business model, with a focus on optimizing operations
- Mentor junior analysts, providing guidance and support in their development

Who You Are:
- 3+ years experience in reporting, BI, data analysis, or a similar position with an operations focus
- Advanced ability to model real-life business operations using assumptions and historical data
- Advanced ability to utilize large language models to guide and enhance tasks
- Advanced understanding of inferential statistics for advanced analytics
- Proficient with SQL, Python, and data visualization tools
- Strong autonomy and proactive communication skills, with the confidence to share findings and challenge assumptions unprompted
- Curious mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and expanding knowledge and skills
- Domain knowledge relevant to operations (e.g. procurement, inventory management, production, logistics)
