Role: Senior Data Analyst – Regulatory Data & Risk Analytics
Location: London
Working Model: Hybrid – 3 days per week onsite
Type: Permanent
Clearance: Active SC – Mandatory
Key Technical Requirements
- Strong hands-on SQL and experience analysing large, complex datasets.
- Strong data investigation, data quality, and data validation experience.
- Experience identifying duplicates, missing data, inconsistencies, and anomalies.
- Experience developing or analysing risk indicators.
- Strong Tableau or Power BI dashboarding experience.
- Experience with AWS, particularly S3, DynamoDB, Athena, or similar data services.
- Experience validating calculations and analytical outputs.
- Good understanding of statistical concepts, including standard deviation and anomaly analysis.
- Regulatory, financial services, or another highly regulated industry experience.
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to communicate analytical findings to senior stakeholders.

- Assessed data quality, integrity, and completeness.
- Investigated duplicate or missing company/reference/serial numbers.
- Identified and prioritised risks using data.
- Validated calculations and challenged incorrect results.
- Investigated anomalies and determined whether they were genuine risks or data-quality problems.
- Worked across multiple data sources and reconciled conflicting information.
- Built dashboards that support business/risk decisions.
- Challenged stakeholders constructively when the data did not support an assumption.
