Role Description
The Senior Data Analyst – SQL, Tableau will play a key role in transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights for clients and internal stakeholders. This contract position is based in the London Area, United Kingdom in a hybrid model, with regular on-site collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Extracting, cleaning, and validating data using SQL
- Building and maintaining dashboards and reports in Tableau
- Performing advanced data analysis and statistical interpretation to support business decisions
- Designing and optimizing data models
- Documenting analytical methodologies
- Presenting findings in a clear and compelling way to both technical and non-technical audiences

The role involves collaborating closely with consultants, engineers, and business partners to define requirements, improve data quality, and enhance analytics capabilities across projects.

Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills and proven experience in Data Analytics to interpret complex datasets and generate actionable insights.
- Solid foundation in Statistics to support hypothesis testing, trend analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
- Proficiency in Data Modeling, including designing, optimizing, and maintaining data structures for reporting and analytics.
- Effective Communication skills to present complex findings clearly, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and engage stakeholders at various levels.
- Advanced hands-on experience with SQL for data extraction, transformation, and performance optimization.
- Expertise with Tableau (or similar BI tools) for interactive dashboard development, data visualization, and report automation.
- Experience working in consulting, technology, or data-focused environments, ideally in a hybrid or client-facing setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.
- Familiarity with additional tools or languages (e.g., Python, R, Excel, other BI platforms) is beneficial.
