Job Description
Overview
Join our growing Data Analytics team within the Applied Technology Practice and play a key role in helping clients unlock the full value of their data. As a Senior Data Analytics Consultant, you'll lead the design and delivery of high-quality business intelligence solutions that help clients transform complex information into clear insight, improve decision-making and increase confidence in the way information is used across projects and programmes.
Working closely with clients and stakeholders, you'll combine your expertise in Microsoft Power BI and other Power Platform technologies to create integrated digital solutions that connect data, processes, and people. From developing intuitive dashboards and semantic models to driving automation and improving business workflows, you'll help organisations modernise the way they collect, manage, and use information.
We're looking for a technically strong consultant who can blend deep Microsoft technology expertise with a practical understanding of business challenges, user experience, and digital transformation. You'll be a trusted advisor to clients, a mentor to colleagues and an advocate for data-driven decision making, while contributing to the continued growth and innovation of our Data Analytics capability.
This is a client-facing consulting hybrid role based in Bristol or London and will involve occasional travel to client and company sites to support project delivery, stakeholder engagement, and business development activities.
Your role
- Lead the end-to-end development of Power BI reporting solutions, including requirements definition, data modelling, DAX and Power Query, decision focussed design, deployment, adoption and optimisation.
- Design and deliver Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps and Power Automate, to improve data capture, automate business processes, integrate workflows and support wider digital transformation initiatives.
- Develop intuitive, user-focused reporting, automation and digital solutions that improve access to information, streamline data capture and business processes, reduce reliance on manual activities, and deliver clear, actionable insight that supports operational and strategic decision-making.
- Work with project, client and functional stakeholders to understand reporting needs, define requirements, and translate business challenges into effective data and digital solutions.
- Act as a technical leader within the Data Analytics team, providing subject matter expertise, coaching and line management to colleagues while promoting best practice, innovation and high-quality delivery across projects and programmes.
- Contribute to the growth and development of the Data Analytics capability through capability building, knowledge sharing, recruitment, internal initiatives and service development, whilst building a recognised area of expertise and acting as a trusted advisor to colleagues, project teams and wider business stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong client and internal stakeholder relationships, identifying opportunities to deliver value through data and digital solutions, supporting business development activities, contributing to bids and propositions, and helping to grow the Data Analytics capability.
- Contribute to the growth and profile of the Data Analytics capability through client engagement, thought leadership, capability demonstrations, case studies and industry insight activities, while monitoring emerging technologies and analytics trends to identify opportunities for innovation, capability development and new service offerings.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
