(Contract) Senior Data Analyst
London | Inside IR35
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established consumer-focused organisation during a period of transformation. You'll play a key role in delivering business-critical reporting and customer analytics, helping stakeholders make informed decisions while supporting a busy analytics function as the permanent team is rebuilt.

The Role and Deliverables
- Deliver regular reporting, KPI tracking, and customer analytics across multiple business channels and locations.
- Work closely with analysts and stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and business needs.
- Produce insights using SQL and Excel to support decision making across the organisation.
- Support executive reporting through the delivery of accurate and timely performance analysis.
- Investigate data anomalies, identify root causes, and ensure reporting quality and integrity.
- Highlight opportunities for deeper analysis and additional business insight where appropriate.
Your Skills & Experience
- Strong SQL skills with the ability to extract, manipulate, and analyse data effectively.
- Advanced Excel experience for reporting, analysis, and data validation.
- Strong experience producing reporting and analytics for business stakeholders.
- Proven ability to investigate data issues and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with large, complex, or imperfect datasets.
- Ability to translate data into clear, meaningful business insights.
- Strong analytical mindset with a curious and proactive approach to problem solving.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change.
- Experience with Python and Snowflake is beneficial.
- Experience within retail, customer-facing industries, or customer analytics environments is advantageous.
