Senior Data Analytics Engineer London / WFH

to £95k

Are you a Senior Data Analytics Engineer who combines strong technical skills with the ability to work closely with business stakeholders?

You could be progressing your career in a senior, hands-on role at a well-established consumer-facing financial services company that helps people to manage debt, as they go through a technical transformation and scale-up following recent investment.

As a Senior Data Analytics Engineer you'll join a growing Data Team where you'll take ownership of analytics initiatives, help modernise the data platform, and turn complex data into meaningful business insight.

You'll work across analytics engineering, data modelling, and data engineering, partnering with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable, high-quality solutions. You'll also play a key role in the migration from Oracle to AWS and the development of a modern data platform.

What you'll do

  • Design and build analytics solutions, data models, and transformations using dbt Cloud
  • Develop the business reporting layer, including testing, documentation, and CI/CD
  • Build dashboards and self-service analytics using Metabase
  • Use advanced SQL and data modelling techniques to deliver robust data solutions
  • Work with Oracle / PL/SQL, including packages and stored procedures, supporting the migration to AWS
  • Contribute to data pipelines, integrations, and modern data warehouse / data lake development
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Collaborate with legacy data warehouse teams and support data migration and transformation initiatives
  • Manage priorities and delivery through JIRA / Agile
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, automation, and data quality
  • Provide technical leadership and hands-on support across analytics projects

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
