Job Description

A large global professional services organisation is undertaking a major transformation of its enterprise data landscape, building a modern Microsoft Fabric-based data platform and strengthening its internal Data & AI capability. They are looking for an experienced Data Architect to lead the architecture, standards and design of this new data environment.

The Role

  • Lead the architecture and design of the Microsoft Fabric data platform
  • Define patterns for Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Real-Time Analytics, Semantic Models and Data Engineering
  • Design scalable data ingestion, transformation, storage and consumption patterns
  • Define enterprise conceptual, logical and physical data models
  • Establish metadata-driven architecture, data lineage and cataloguing standards
  • Define Master Data Management (MDM) principles
  • Develop enterprise data architecture standards and roadmaps
  • Design integration architectures using APIs, event-driven patterns and ETL/ELT
  • Embed data governance, security and data quality
  • Work across data engineering, analytics, architecture and business teams
