About The Team

Our Business Services teams provide the technology, tools and services that enable our people to deliver exceptional client service. Within IT, the Architecture function helps shape secure, scalable and sustainable technology solutions that support the future growth of the firm.

About The Role

As a Senior Data Architect, you’ll translate our enterprise data strategy into practical architectures, standards, designs and delivery roadmaps.

Working closely with the Head of Data, business stakeholders and technology teams, you’ll help improve the quality, consistency and accessibility of data across the firm.

  • Defining target-state data architectures, standards and reusable patterns.
  • Designing conceptual, logical and physical data models.
  • Shaping modern data platforms, integrations and enterprise data flows.
  • Supporting trusted reporting, analytics, automation and appropriate AI use cases.
  • Embedding data quality, security, metadata, lineage and lifecycle requirements.
  • Providing architecture leadership and assurance across complex change initiatives.
  • Mentoring technical colleagues and improving data architecture capability.

What We Are Looking For

  • Significant experience leading enterprise data architecture and complex data change.
  • Strong knowledge of data modelling, modern data platforms and integration patterns.
  • Experience translating data strategy into practical solutions and roadmaps.
  • An understanding of analytics, reporting, data governance, security and quality.
  • Strong stakeholder management and the ability to explain technical decisions clearly.
  • A pragmatic, delivery-focused approach with high standards for architecture and documentation.
