Role: Data Engineering Lead/Architect
Location: London/ Amsterdam
Mode: Onsite (5 days)

Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement scalable data solutions using Databricks and cloud-native services.
- Lead enterprise data migration programs from legacy platforms to modern cloud-based architectures.
- Define and implement data governance, security, compliance, and data quality frameworks across the organization.
- Establish best practices for data access controls, lineage, cataloging, auditing, and regulatory compliance.
- Drive modernization initiatives involving data lakes, warehouses, and real-time analytics platforms.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, security teams, architects, and engineering teams to define strategic data roadmaps.
- Mentor and guide data engineering teams on architecture, security, governance, and migration best practices.
- Optimize performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency of data platforms.

Required Experience
- 10+ years of overall experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or Analytics Engineering.
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks.
- Strong experience in Data Security and Governance implementations.
- Extensive experience driving end-to-end Data Migration projects and modernization programs.
- Experience working with enterprise-scale data platforms and large data volumes.
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.

Preferred Certifications
- Databricks Certified Professional/Data Engineer.
- Microsoft Azure Data Engineer Associate.
