Data Architect – Digital Twin & Operational Data

Location: Coventry – hybrid

Day Rate: £470 per day

Duration: Initial 6-month contract

Working Pattern: One day per week onsite

We are looking for an experienced Data Architect to support a major digital transformation programme focused on operational, asset, geospatial and telemetry data. The successful candidate will define the target-state data architecture and establish the standards, governance and integration principles required to support Digital Twin and Unified Namespace initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design the target-state architecture for asset, geospatial, telemetry and operational data
  • Produce logical and physical data models
  • Define Unified Namespace architecture, data structures and naming conventions
  • Establish data mapping, governance and source-system integration standards
  • Design integration approaches for static, dynamic, historical and real-time data
  • Develop architecture standards supporting Digital Twin initiatives
  • Define interoperability, metadata and data catalogue standards
  • Develop data availability, quality and usability framework
  • Identify authoritative data sources, ownership responsibilities and data gaps
  • Provide technical leadership, architecture assurance and stakeholder engagement
