We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our Asset Management Data Analytics Office (DAO) Change team in the role of Senior Data Business Analytics to help deliver high-impact change across key enterprise data services and platforms including Investment Data Service, Security Master, Funds Data, Entity Master and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You’ll partner closely with Business Analysts, Test Analysts and Delivery Managers, as well as third-party vendors and IT service providers, to improve data quality, controls and outcomes for the Asset Management business. As we transition towards a data product-aligned operating model, this is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys shaping requirements, solving data problems, and getting change delivered at pace.

Responsibilities
In this role you’ll:
- Elicit, analyse and document business and functional requirements across multiple data services (epics/user stories, acceptance criteria, process and data flows).
- Use Structured Query Language (SQL) to interrogate, validate and reconcile datasets; support root-cause analysis and resolution of data issues.
- Support delivery execution including backlog refinement, dependency management, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning/execution and stakeholder sign-off.
- Define and maintain core data artefacts such as business rules, data definitions, lineage notes and source-to-target mappings.
- Work with engineers/platform teams to deliver and assure datasets and controls on GCP (e.g., monitoring, access management, data quality).
- Coordinate with vendors and IT service providers to agree deliverables, manage issues/risks and drive actions through to closure.
Requirements
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Proven working knowledge of Asset Management and the data used within it
- Senior Business Analyst experience in investment data management (e.g., security master, pricing, holdings/positions, funds, entity data).
- Strong SQL skills with proven experience validating datasets and transformations.
- Hands-on experience in GCP data environments (e.g., BigQuery; cloud warehousing/lakehouse concepts).
- Strong working knowledge of Bloomberg data and common security identifiers (ISIN/CUSIP/SEDOL/BBGID).
- Strong stakeholder management skills across business, technology and third parties; confident chairing large meetings and driving actions.
- Comfortable working with global teams across time zones; adaptable with a team player mindset.
