Senior Data Platform Consultant – DV Cleared
Role Overview
A senior consultant is required to support the delivery, assurance and acceptance of a complex data platform and associated tooling.
The role will cover technical assurance, data governance, data engineering, systems engineering and integrated Test, Evaluation and Acceptance (TE&A).
Key Responsibilities
- Review High-Level and Low-Level Designs, configuration management, non-functional requirements, disaster recovery and Secure by Design compliance.
- Assess data sources, data quality, structures, integration complexity and onboarding priorities.
- Review data handling requirements, including security classification, GDPR, legal considerations, retention and access controls.
- Support data governance, stewardship, lineage, metadata and lifecycle management.
- Define and assess data onboarding and integration processes.
- Identify technical constraints, risks, dependencies and impacts on the platform.
- Assure test strategies, plans, schedules, scripts, test cases and acceptance evidence.
- Review defects, design decisions and requirements traceability.
- Conduct change impact assessments covering design, testing, acceptance, cost, schedule and risk.
- Produce clear assurance reports, recommendations and integrated TE&A evidence.

Essential Experience
- Experience in technical assurance, data engineering, data governance, systems engineering or test and acceptance.
- Experience working with complex data platforms, software solutions or systems integration programmes.
- Strong understanding of data quality, data lifecycle management and information governance.
- Experience reviewing technical designs, security requirements and non-functional requirements.
- Experience developing or assuring test and acceptance strategies and evidence.
- Ability to assess technical risks, dependencies and change impacts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Contract Details
- Contract: 24 August 2026 to 2 June 2027, with a potential 12-month extension.
- Work packages to be priced separately according to required resources.
- Quarterly payment milestones.
- Current DV clearance is essential.
