Senior Data Engineer – Consulting
London
Hybrid – 3 days/week in a central London office

Our client is a growing global tech consultancy that helps some of the world's biggest businesses bring their data, AI, cloud and digital solutions to life. They're on the hunt for a Senior Data Engineer who loves solving problems, thinking critically, and staying curious.
About the Role
As Senior Data Engineer, you'll be the builder - making sure data flows cleanly and reliably across complex systems, while working alongside some of the best in the industry. The business are now on the Databricks partnership pathway, so there will be plenty of opportunity to be part of expanding this community and capability and lots of new projects coming into the business.

You must have a current or expired Databricks certification.
What You'll Do
- Design and build pipelines to ingest, transform and load data
- Set up data lakes and warehouses for scalable access
- Ensure systems are secure, reliable and cost-effective
- Collaborate closely with analysts, ML engineers and platform teams
Tech You'll Work With
- Python, Spark, Airflow
- Databricks, BigQuery, Neo4J
- dbt, Fivetran, Terraform
- Azure, GCP, AWS
What We're Looking For
- Solid hands-on experience building scalable data pipelines
- Databricks certification (can be expired)
- Comfort working across the modern data stack (ingestion, orchestration, warehousing)
- A collaborative mindset - happy working independently but strong as part of a team
- Curiosity and appetite to experiment with new tools and approaches
