Senior Data Consultant / Data Architect | Enterprise Data Modelling
Nixor are supporting a major UK financial services organisation as they build out a brand-new Group Data & AI function, and we're looking for an experienced Data Architect to join the team. This is a particularly exciting time to join.
The organisation is making a significant investment in Data & AI, and you'll have the opportunity to help shape how data is structured, governed and consumed across the business – rather than simply inheriting something that's already been built.
The role has a strong hands-on data modelling focus. You'll help develop and expand the Enterprise Data Model, creating trusted and reusable data assets that will ultimately support analytics, reporting, data science and AI.

We're particularly interested in speaking to people who have:
- Built or developed Enterprise Data Models
- Created conceptual, logical and/or physical data models
- Worked with domain-based or canonical data models
- Produced complex source-to-target mappings
- Used modelling tools such as ERwin, ER/Studio, Sparx EA or PowerDesigner
- Worked with metadata, lineage and data governance
- Worked closely with Data Engineers to turn designs into working data products
- Experience of modern cloud data platforms – ideally Azure and/or Databricks

You could currently be working as a Data Architect, Enterprise Data Modeller, Senior Data Modeller, Information Architect or Data Design Lead – we're more interested in what you've actually designed and delivered than your current job title.
The real attraction is the opportunity to join a Data & AI capability at an early stage and genuinely put your stamp on how enterprise data is designed and used across the organisation.
The role is paying up to £90,000 plus a 12% Bonus and up to a 21% Pension. The Head office is just outside Wilmslow and is Hybrid working.
