Senior Data Consultant
Up to £70,000 + bonus
Location: London/Hybrid
The Overview
This is an opportunity to join a growing data and technology consultancy delivering complex transformation programmes across data, analytics, engineering and software development. You'll work on high-impact projects, remain hands-on with modern technologies, and play a key role in shaping technical standards and mentoring others within the team.

The Role
As a Senior Data Consultant, you will take ownership of technical delivery across client projects while remaining close to the build. You'll help design scalable solutions, guide best practices, and work directly with senior stakeholders to solve complex business problems.

Responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing scalable data pipelines and modern data platforms
- Leading technical delivery across multiple client engagements
- Building robust data models and data warehouse solutions
- Collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Reviewing code and driving engineering best practices
- Supporting cloud infrastructure, data integration, and migration projects
- Presenting technical recommendations to senior business stakeholders
- Mentoring and supporting the development of other consultants and engineers
- Contributing to architecture, platform, and tooling decisions
- Supporting enterprise-scale transformation and modernisation programmes
Your Skills & Experience
- Strong commercial experience with SQL and data engineering principles
- Proven expertise delivering solutions using dbt
- Experience building and maintaining production-grade data pipelines
- Strong understanding of data modelling and data warehousing concepts
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, Databricks, or BigQuery
- Ability to own technical projects from design through to delivery
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Familiarity with BI and analytics platforms such as Looker
- Experience working with APIs, integrations, version control, and modern engineering practices
- Degree in a STEM-related discipline from a leading university
