About the Role

At Dufrain, we work with clients across a wide range of industries to establish robust frameworks that provide strategic alignment, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement of data quality and integrity. These foundations empower organisations to manage risk, unlock new opportunities, and build scalable AI solutions with confidence.

This is a hands-on consulting role where you'll help shape governance strategies, design scalable metadata frameworks and implement Microsoft Purview across Microsoft Fabric environments. You'll work directly with client stakeholders, influence technical direction and see the tangible outcomes of your expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and implement Microsoft Purview structured data governance across Microsoft Fabric environments, including Lakehouses, Warehouses and OneLake.
  • Configure Purview Data Map scanning and registration for Fabric data assets, establishing and maintaining an accurate and governed asset inventory.
  • Design and implement data classification schemes and sensitivity labels within Purview, applied to structured data assets residing in Fabric.
  • Build and manage business glossaries, data dictionaries and metadata standards within Purview at scale, including bulk upload approaches for metadata population, aligned to client governance frameworks.
  • Configure Purview scanning and cataloguing of SaaS data sources landing in Fabric, with Salesforce as the initial priority source system.
  • Implement data lineage tracking across Fabric pipelines and data flows, surfaced and managed through Purview.
  • Define and configure Purview data domains, collections and access policies in line with client organisational structures and stewardship models.
  • Engage directly with client stakeholders to gather requirements, run working sessions and communicate governance outcomes.
  • Advocating best practices, constructively challenging clients and peers to ensure the best outcomes
  • Work as an integrated member of the Dufrain delivery team, contributing to governance artefacts and client documentation.
  • Mentor and guide teams, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and high-quality delivery.
  • Own and drive delivery plans, structuring high-quality work, managing risks and dependencies, and communicating effectively with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic goals.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
