Job Description
THE ROLE
The primary focus for you will be the design and delivery of enterprise-level data solutions from the earliest discovery phases of projects through prototyping, architectural design and delivery. You will be working with Microsoft Fabric to build data solutions which will help businesses to gain greater insight into their data.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working on projects that use Microsoft Fabric to deliver data products and platforms across reporting, analytics and AI
- Satisfying the expectations and requirements of customers, both internal and external, to ensure we are delivering value
- Supporting others in their development
- Contributing to the Telefonica Tech UK&I - Data &AI internal and external community
REQUIREMENTS
- Strategic and operational decision-making skills
- Ability to guide, direct or influence people
- Ability to identify opportunities and issues, and suggest resolutions
- Willingness to learn based on feedback
- Able to help others develop
- Involvement in architectural decisions for data solutions
- An interest in using AI to solve business problems
Technical skills:
You should be comfortable with all of the core technologies below and have had exposure to the others from the following list.
Core
Within Microsoft Fabric you must have experience using:
- Pipelines
- Notebooks
- Lakehouse / Warehouses
You should also be confident writing code in:
- SQL
- Python
And you should understand the fundamentals of:
- Capacity management – throttling, overage, scaling
- Metadata-driven data platforms
- Data Lakehouse architecture
- Git and version control
- Data Modelling and Data Warehouse Theory
- AI-driven development

- Azure Networking and Infrastructure
Certifications (Nice to have)
- DP-700 Fabric Data Engineer Associate
