A fast-growing cybersecurity startup, using an AI SaaS platform to identify and interpret exposed data in near real-time, is seeking a talented engineer. This company helps clients reduce the risk and anxiety associated with exposed data across complex supply chains, providing assurance through cutting-edge technology.
The Role
- Design, build, and operate batch and streaming systems to ingest, transform, model, and serve data at scale.
- Own and evolve data pipelines and the data platform, turning raw exposed data into reliable, queryable intelligence.
- Work closely with founders, platform, and software engineers in a small, international team.
- Ensure data quality, correctness, and scalability for analytics, ML models, and customer-facing platforms.
- Support ML/AI workflows through data cleaning and feature engineering for training pipelines.
- Architect robust pipelines and deliver clean, well-modelled datasets for high-quality intelligence.

What You'll Need
- Demonstrable experience in designing, building, and operating production data pipelines end-to-end.
- Strong Python for data engineering, including hands-on PySpark at scale (AWS EMR).
- Strong SQL for modelling, transforming, and querying large datasets.
- Experience with streaming data (Kafka), Lakehouse patterns (Apache Iceberg, Athena, S3), and workflow orchestration (Airflow).
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and managing core AWS services.
- Ability to ingest large, heterogeneous, unclean data from many sources and ensure reliability.
