A scaling investment research technology company, at the forefront of financial data innovation, is seeking a talented professional to join their dynamic team.

The Role

  • Develop and evolve a modern, scalable AWS cloud-based data platform.
  • Design and maintain robust data pipelines, ingestion frameworks, and processing workflows.
  • Support the migration of existing datasets into a unified data architecture.
  • Collaborate on platform design, data modelling, and database optimisation.
  • Manage and optimise PostgreSQL and time-series database environments.
  • Improve data quality and governance, ensuring platform reliability and scalability.

What You'll Need

  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer in a FinTech or financial services environment.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python coding.
  • Extensive AWS experience, including Data Lakes and S3.
  • Experience building and supporting large-scale data pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and time-series data (e.g., TimescaleDB).
  • Familiarity with orchestration platforms like Dagster or Airflow.
