Role Summary
We are building out our core analytics infrastructure to power trading, finance, risk, and operational intelligence across the business. We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to take ownership of our cloud data platform, establishing a solid Snowflake Lakehouse ecosystem that brings together data from multiple internal platforms and external APIs.

What You’ll Do
Data Platform & Engineering

- Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines pulling from trading systems, CRM platforms, risk engines, and financial databases.
- Design robust data models using medallion architecture principles (Bronze/Silver/Gold) to support both fast-paced analytics and strict regulatory needs.
- Implement best practices around data orchestration, automated testing, versioning, and lineage tracking.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
