Who You Will Work With
Our client is a global financial services firm that manages wealth, navigates complex markets, and design strategic financial objectives. The firm provides risk management solutions across a variety of sectors, emphasizing long-term relationships, and innovative approaches to financial challenges.
What You'll Do
- Act as IT System Owner for data and systems solutions, overseeing their design, operation, security and continuous improvement in line with business needs.
- Analyse business processes and operational datasets to profile, validate and assess data quality, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and translate findings into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Design and implement relational and dimensional data models (e.g. star/snowflake) and build/maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest data from operational, SaaS, IoT and vendor sources into central analytics environments.
- Develop and optimise SQL queries, views and stored procedures, and model telemetry/event-based pipelines into SQL/Power BI/DAX, establishing data quality, lineage and retention for time-series analytics.
- Design and develop AI agents and agentic workflows, including use of Snowflake Cortex AI for human-in-the-loop workflow design, to automate high-value processes with appropriate guardrails and oversight.
- Partner with stakeholders to define KPIs, metrics and reporting standards; translate business questions into analytical models, dashboards and metrics; and support ad hoc and recurring analysis for operational and leadership reporting.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (including Security Architecture and Corporate Services), gather and prioritise feature enhancements, review Jira tickets, and produce technical documentation, training materials and automation scripts (PowerShell, Python, Shell) to streamline operations.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
