An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Data Engineer to join a growing data team and contribute to the development of a modern cloud-based data platform.
You'll be responsible for:
- Developing scalable data pipelines
- Integrating multiple data sources
- Delivering reliable datasets that support analytics, reporting, and operational decision-making across the organisation
Working alongside data engineers, BI specialists, and business stakeholders, you'll play a key role in the ongoing evolution of the company's Azure-based data estate.

This role is hybrid however candidates must be able to commute to the North East office weekly.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines
- Integrate data from multiple systems and external providers
- Develop scalable and reliable data models
- Improve monitoring, testing, and platform performance
- Support data quality and governance initiatives
- Collaborate with BI teams to deliver trusted reporting datasets
- Contribute to platform improvements and architectural decisions
- Maintain documentation and data lineage records

Essential Skills
- Strong SQL development skills
- Experience with Python or a similar programming language
- Data engineering or data integration experience
- Understanding of data modelling and ETL/ELT concepts
- Experience implementing data validation and testing processes
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
