Senior Data Engineer / Bristol / Hybrid (2 days) / £60,000 - £80,000
We’re working with a leading technology consultancy who are looking to add experienced Data Engineers to their growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working on complex Data Engineering challenges, getting involved in different projects and working with a variety of clients and technologies.
About the Role
As a Data Engineer, you’ll work closely with clients and internal teams to design, build and improve modern data platforms and pipelines. You’ll be involved across the full Data Engineering lifecycle, from understanding requirements and designing solutions through to development, testing and optimisation.

They’re technology agnostic, so, they’re open to people working with different cloud backgrounds, especially Azure and AWS, provided you have strong Data Engineering fundamentals and are comfortable learning new technologies.
What They're Looking For
- Strong commercial experience as a Data Engineer
- Strong Python and SQL skills
- Experience building data pipelines and data platforms
- Experience working with cloud technologies
- Good understanding of data architecture and engineering principles
- Ability to solve complex technical problems
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working in a consultancy/client-facing environment
- Someone who enjoys learning and working with different technologies
