Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The Role
What We're Looking For
- Experience in building and owning production data pipelines at a startup
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML features, including validating models against real, messy client data
- AI-native thinking with practical judgment on working with LLMs: prompt and retrieval design, evaluating output quality, and knowing when a cheaper model is good enough
- Experience working on data-heavy products where enterprise clients depend on the numbers being right
- Ability to scope and sequence your own work, breaking commercial priorities into shippable pieces and setting realistic timelines
- Instinctive cost awareness, noticing and fixing issues before they become problems
- Natural communicator who can turn technical details into plain, simple language and build trusted relationships with customers and colleagues
- Ambitious and quick, setting high standards and preferring to ship good work this week rather than perfect work next month
- High values alignment and trust, someone we'd want beside us for the long haul
