Senior Data Engineer
Location: London | Hybrid
Salary: £75K - £85K
Data Idols are working with a leading organisation that is continuing to invest heavily in its data and technology capabilities. They are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a growing data function and help build the platforms and solutions behind high-impact Data Science and analytics products.
This is an opportunity to work in a modern data environment, solving complex engineering challenges and building solutions that will be used at significant scale.
The Opportunity
As a Senior Data Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing and developing the data foundations that enable Data Science teams to build, test and deliver sophisticated data products.

- You'll work across the full engineering lifecycle, building scalable pipelines, developing complex orchestration workflows and creating reliable, production-ready solutions using technologies including Databricks and Airflow.
- You'll have plenty of ownership and the opportunity to influence how solutions are designed and delivered, while working closely with Data Scientists and other engineering and product teams.

- Strong commercial Data Engineering experience
- Experience designing and building scalable data pipelines
- Strong experience with Airflow
- Experience working with Databricks
- Experience working closely with Data Science or advanced analytics teams
- Ability to take ownership of complex technical problems and drive solutions through to delivery
