Job Description: Senior Data Engineer

Location: London/Hybrid – Office two+ days per week

How to apply: Please send your CV and a cover letter (maximum 300 words) on why you want to work at Clariti AI to jobs@clariti.ai (LinkedIn applications will be reviewed less frequently than emails).

About Clariti AI:

At Clariti AI, we have built price optimisation software that optimizes retail bank’s deposits and mortgage assets. We currently have over £250 Bn of balances in the UK and Ireland under our optimisation software, and are expanding internationally as well as our product range.

Stability: This is not like most start-ups, we have been profitable for 5 years, and will continue to grow sustainably, meaning this role is designed for the long-term and is ideal for someone who wants to stick around and grow with the company.

Benefits/motivation:

On top of a competitive salary, you will also get monthly profit share, making take home remuneration very desirable (£60k-£110k) as well as a generous equity share. As a result, we are looking for competent and responsible DE’s who want to take ownership of the data infrastructure and directly share in the growing rewards (our revenue has been growing 2x in the last year).

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About the role:

We’re hiring for a DE to come in and take ownership of our data infrastructure – balancing technical vs. commercial decisions.

Tech scope: In simple terms, we take client and market data, run data pipelines and ML models, and upload our outputs to a price optimisation platform (updated daily) that the client uses (think complex data batch processing / ML / Databases).

Tech stack: We build everything in Python on the Azure cloud.

Key activities:

  • Building, scaling, and improving our data pipelines
  • Integrating cloud platform tools
  • Talking with clients and helping us grow the business

You’ll ideally have:

  • 3+ years experience working as a Data Engineer
  • Knowledge of the retail banking sector or general price optimisation (not essential)
  • Willingness to get involved in all parts of the business – we are a small company so we all wear many hats
