Role: Senior Data Engineer

Location: 3-4 Days Onsite London / Remote

Daily Rate: Up to £450 Per Day (Inside IR35)

Duration: 6 Months (View to Extension)

Lumora Solutions is partnering with a global consultancy at the forefront of Data & AI. We are currently seeking multiple Senior Data Engineers to join a high-performing team on a 6-month contract, working hybrid and inside IR35.

What you will be doing:

  • Design, build and optimise cloud-native data pipelines using Python, Spark/PySpark, AWS Glue, EMR and modern orchestration tools.
  • Develop scalable batch and streaming data solutions using Kafka, Kinesis and event-driven architectures.
  • Optimise large-scale data processing using Spark SQL, Trino, partitioning, bucketing and sharding techniques.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable and production-ready data platforms.

What you will bring:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Python, Spark/PySpark, AWS Glue, EMR and distributed cloud data platforms.
  • Expertise building streaming pipelines with Kafka, Kinesis and event-driven architectures.
  • Knowledge of Spark SQL, Trino, cloud-native data processing and large-scale performance optimisation.
  • Strong understanding of parallelism, concurrency, scalability and modern data engineering best practices.
